YAK Apparel was founded in 2009. Our mission is to provide sustainable, fair wage employment to the people of Nepal through the production of colorful wool hats, silk scarves and other handmade accessories. YAK hats and scarves are made of the highest quality wool and silk and come in a variety of fashion-forward styles perfect for everything from winter sports to elegant work-wear.
YAK Apparel distributes products for men, women and children across the United States, Canada and abroad in Germany, Russia, Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. While YAK items are produced by talented Artisans throughout Nepal, the company's corporate- and design headquarter is located in Boston, Massachusetts.
